Google Introducing “Google Chrome Frame”

This is new tool. Google Chrome Frame is an open source plug-in that brings HTML5 and other open web technologies to Internet Explorer.

Google Announced it on 22nd September via The Chromium Blog

With Google Chrome Frame, developers can now take advantage of the latest open web technologies, even in Internet Explorer. From a faster Javascript engine, to support for current web technologies like HTML5’s offline capabilities and <canvas>, to modern CSS/Layout handling, Google Chrome Frame enables these features within IE with no additional coding or testing for different browser versions.

WordPress Theme Authenticity Checker

screenshot-1

WordPress.org host most GPL based Themes, but we use lots theme from different source. And stories are sometime true, some WordPress theme really contains risky code and malicious code which might be harmful. So it would be better if we could test Theme Authenticity somehow.

TAC(Theme Authenticity Checker) is a WordPress Plugin, TAC stands for Theme Authenticity Checker. Currently, TAC searches the source files of every installed theme for signs of malicious code. If such code is found, TAC displays the path to the theme file, the line number, and a small snippet of the suspect code. As of v1.3 TAC also searches for and displays static links.

Interested About Android 2.0

Android 2.0 Front Panel

Today TheTechJournal.com posted an interesting article. Somehow Manoj(The Author of that post) find out news and image about unannounced Android 2.0. I am always much interested about Android. I liked it in G1, though i dont like G1 Out Look, Hoping it will get better in later Google release.

Android 2.0 looks to be a major improvement in Google’s mobile OS and we couldn’t be more excited about it. From native Exchange support to native Facebook support (it will sync with your contacts), browser improvements, a completely updated Maps application, unified email Inbox — there’s much, much more — and a brand new UI makeover, version 2.0 starts to make Android a really viable (and interesting) platform. Bounce over the jump for all the screenshots and our walkthrough!

Alexa Update: Starts Showing Country Ranking Amoung Top Menu

A Small But Significant Update From Alexa.com. Now They are now showing Country Ranking on top menu.
Check Screen Shot below.
alexa new

Check My Live Alexa State Page:
http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/asif.im

The confusing part is how they are deciding the country to show. In my exploration i find out its showing the country where that specific site have better rank. Like for Asif2BD.info, it has Alexa rank of 750 in Bangladesh so its showing Bangladesh. But when i was exploring more i find out, its showing USA for facebook, where FaceBook.com have Rank 3 in USA, but Facebook has rank 1 in Bangladesh, but its still showing USA as showing country, so it seems its consider origin country too, like where its owner information or where is its server.
